On April 16, English brand Burberry paid tribute to its hometown, London, with the “London to Los Angeles” event at the iconic Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles.

The evening began as guests made their way to the specially-created Jardin Anglais, whose decor was inspired by London’s Royal Parks. Over 700 celebrities were invited, including Cara Delevigne, David and Victoria Beckam, Elton John, Kate Beckinsale and Anna Wintour.

The privileged few were then able to attend the brand’s runway show, which presented the Autumn/Winter 2015 collection for men and women. Among the models on show were members of the Burberry family such as Naomi Campbell and Jordan Dunn. The highlight of the show was a surprise appearance by British TV and film star James Corden. English guards also marched to the sounds of their flutes and drums, while projections of English and American flags were projected onto a screen, illuminating the facade of Griffith Observatory.

For the first time, the Maison offered a live stream of the entire fashion show on Periscope, giving audiences around the world the chance to experience the show live. The invitation to watch the show was posted on Twitter. Burberry also shared the journey from London to Los Angeles on Snapchat.
