In 2000, the year of its launch, the J12 was the first watch to dare to transform high-tech ceramics into a precious material. First in dazzling black, then in immaculate white in 2003, the number 12 became one of CHANEL’s signature numbers.
In 2011, CHANEL innovated once again with the creation of Titanium ceramic, giving the bracelet a unique, ever-changing pantone.
Fifteen years after its creation, CHANEL continues to pay homage to this watchmaking icon with its many variations, daring matte finishes, jewelry editions and Haute Horlogerie series.
With its singular beauty, the finely openworked dial reveals the mechanics of its skeletonized Haute Horlogerie movement, which plays on variations of black – matte, polished, shiny – and a thousand diamond lights.

Like a secret code, the J12-G.10 chooses a new identity by borrowing its name from the order form for this legendary military bracelet.
And since 2012, with the Tourbillon Volant Camélia caliber, the Première has entered the world of Grandes Complications.
Stylized as a camellia, its flying tourbillon with no upper bridge beats with restraint at the heart of a finely openworked movement, the result of a close collaboration between CHANEL and the Swiss master-watchmakers Renaud & Papi (APRP SA).
Playing on nuances – matte, polished, brilliant – black is adorned with a rare intensity, sublimated by the sparkling brilliance of diamonds. Beyond the exceptional, the Première Tourbillon Volant Ajouré embodies a horological vision of precious time.
