More than 50 years after its creation, Italian beer icon PERONI NASTRO AZZURRO perpetuates the feminine elegance of its origins and unveils a “PERONI NASTRO AZZURRO limited edition” bottle for the winter 2014/2015 season. After the “Noeud” bracelet by iconoclast Cécile Togni in 2011 and the Capsule collection by prodigious couturier Antonio Berardi in 2012, this season’s guest is Christine Phung.

The encounter between PERONI NASTRO AZZURRO and fashion designer Christine Phung is an obvious one: that of an original union, combining modernity and classicism, recalling the history of the brand, founded at the height of the Dolce Vita period. For this limited edition, PERONI NASTRO AZZURRO has reinterpreted its symbolic blue ribbon (translation of “Nastro Azzurro”), to offer us a delicate box comprising: a silk square imagined by Christine Phung accompanied by the brand’s latest creation, the Piccola bottle.

For the occasion, the Italian “belle” dons a square of blue-ribboned silk, echoing her traditional ribbon, a legacy of Italy’s maritime history and deep-rooted attachment to the culture of elegance. Aimed at women and men for whom Italy is synonymous with sunshine, glamour and sophistication, this premium beer and scarf combine the art of Italian living in a single case.

Christine Phung tells us about this project, created exclusively for L’Exception: “For this project, I was inspired both by the freshness of a liquid pouring out, and by the delicacy of bubbles. The lightness and modularity of this object, the sensuality of printed silk and the softness of the material’s caresses on the skin make me love this accessory”. “This large 140 cm silk square with highly graphic printed polka dots and a bright blue border, intended for both men and women, is destined to be a timeless, elegant and functional object.”

Available exclusively in the l’Exception boutique – 28 rue Bichat 75010 Paris – and on the www.lexception.com website.
