Charlie Le Mindu has a taste for performance. In July 2014, he presented Paris Hates Grey, oscillating between sculpture and video.
For Coiffure Week, November 20 to 23, 2014, he did it again with the event Çà Décoiffe! Taking over the covered space on the Berges de Seine, he combined the playful with the aesthetic. Showcasing some of his creations, he set up a chignon bar where Purple Punk chignons, Macarons Spaghettis, Les Sucettes and Les Mèches White and Red allowed for metamorphosis. An installation of wigs demonstrates the unusual potential of the object. Suspended from strings, they facilitate the notion of play. An instaroid photo-call captures the transfiguration. In parallel, he proposed a Perruques evening on the Rosa Bonheur boat, a way of creating a wild atmosphere.
