MORE THAN 15 NATIONALITIES FOR THE “MODERN HERITAGE” IFA PARIS FASHION SHOW

Tuesday, June 24, 5:30 pm Galerie Colbert The youngest of Paris’s fashion schools, IFA Paris, presents its Bachelor FASHION DESIGN program graduation show with a multicultural and personal vision, where students draw on their heritage and roots to invent the future. “In the “melting pot of creation” that is IFA Paris, students cross their cultures, experiences and visions. They enrich each other’s lives and inspire new perspectives,” emphasizes Patrick Kouzmine-Karavaieff, President of the IFA Paris Group. Internationally Parisian, IFA PARIS blends over 50 different nationalities throughout the school. From New Zealand, Japan, Australia, Nigeria, Namibia, Indonesia, Russia, Iceland and France, to Canada and Brazil. More than a school, it’s an academy that brings together the Design and Business streams under the name of IFA Paris, also located in Shanghai. In keeping with the school’s cross-disciplinary approach, the teaching model is entirely in English, with a strong emphasis on experimentation, and is supported by a corps of professors and working professionals. A pioneer in China, IFA Paris opened a school in Shanghai in 2002. IFA PARIS in Shanghai trains over 800 students. Today, it is the most recognized fashion school in China. Students divide their years of study between the two countries. OPEN HOUSE CREATION Thursday June 26 at IFA Paris, along the Canal de l’Ourcq Fashions along the water’s edge, deckchairs with student-designed prints, colorful plane trees – it’s a day to discover a school that’s taking off in a trendy new neighborhood. Being part of this new modernity is the promise of the Portes Ouvertes. Interactive workshops in model making, fashion illustration and more, give you the chance to talk with the students. Work in progress and creative energy for all.
