When two associates with different backgrounds – beauty and design for one, and strategy consulting for the other – join forces, they create a candle collection inspired by the Tarot.
The designers have chosen to reinterpret the shape and meaning of these mythical cards to shake up traditional codes and add a touch of originality.
The hand-applied drawing on Limoges porcelain contributes to the magic of the environment, revealing the characters of these allegorical cards through a trompe l’oeil effect. The key idea: to create a visual, olfactory and sensitive emotion from the Object, as if to rediscover a simple, primitive instinct.
This young creative house has chosen to divert the object from its primary function, to focus on aesthetics, and has also chosen to work exclusively with French manufacturers, with their high-quality expertise, notably by calling on the nose of Shyamala Maisondieu, creator of Tom Ford’s White Musk Collection Musk Pure, among others.
A veritable experimental laboratory, Maison By Khol offers its vision of the world of the Maison through quirky, atypical and lyrical objects.
