Immediate boarding to another galaxy populated by roast beef, cyberpunks and dream creatures. In front of a star-studded audience including Rihanna and Beth Ditto, Jean Paul Gaultier delivered an exceptionally inventive show.
The Communist Party headquarters had been transformed into an international space station for the occasion, and all manner of creatures could be seen there: cosmonauts in metallic green-gray, but also space punks made in England and disco creatures. We also noticed the omnipresence of zippers, evening gowns and shortened tuxedo jackets. If Jean Paul Gaultier is to be believed, the space will be British and punk! What a show!
