Chocolatier Christian Constant (not to be confused with his namesake, a member of the jury on the TV show “Top Chef”) offers original Easter collections every year.
In 2009, to celebrate the opening of a boutique in Japan, the chocolatier created a collection of manga-style Easter eggs. In 2010, it paid tribute to the film Avatar with a large series of images, reproduced in relief, inspired mainly by James Cameron’s film.
This year, the “chocolate composer” honors our happy ancestors the Gauls. The characters, taken from the famous comic strip, are made from Criollo cocoa, a specific blend from Guanaja (Honduras), the rarest and most sought-after of all cocoa varieties. Passionate about the quality of his products, Christian Constant personally selects his chocolate beans from the best plantations he has visited around the world.
These delicious, hand-crafted sculptures are available from our boutique in the 6th arrondissement of Paris.
