Allot manufactures and restores antique furniture dating from the Louis XIV to the Empire periods, using ancestral techniques. Since 1812, seven generations have succeeded one another in developing and perpetuating this know-how.

ALLOT Paris - Canap+® Vinatier - Louis XVI style

Cabinets, chairs, bookcases, sideboards, desks, chests of drawers, consoles, beds, secretaries, pedestal tables, chiffoniers, coffee tables… all these stylish pieces of furniture are made from solid wood. Reproduced identically by hand, these models can be customized to order.

The elegance and quality of Allot’s art furniture were rewarded by the prestigious EPV (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant) state label in 2006 and its renewal in 2011.

The brand, which has just opened its showroom on rue Vaugirard in Paris, today presents two new items from its Spring Summer 2014 collection: “la petite commode glamour” and “la petite chaise au ballon”.

ALLOT Paris Dubois chest of drawers

Faithfully inspired by master cabinetmaker Jacques Dubois, this cherrywood chest of drawers is crafted entirely by hand, using time-honored techniques. The decoration reveals drawings of birds, butterflies and flowers. The lacquered wood is adorned with gold leaf motifs and enhanced by massive bronzes.

Ateliers Allot - Hot-air balloon chair

This delightful little chair in beechwood and pastel colors is the original reproduction of a creation by Demay, a Parisian joiner long appreciated by the King’s Court since the 18th century. It was a gift from Queen Marie Antoinette to the Montgolfier brothers. The chair’s openwork back, depicting a hot-air balloon, is embellished with the Queen’s coat of arms.
