It would be naïve to think that Bensimon is all about shoes, and more specifically the famous tennis shoes that have taken its name.
Indeed, during our visit to the Bensimon showroom, we discovered a whole universe of colors, materials and styles.
Starting with the brand’s various collaborations. At Bensimon, it’s all about hyperactivity. A collaboration in painting, inspired by Mexican hues, a collaboration with Monoprix for interior linens and a clothing line, a collaboration of objects sourced from the four corners of the world for the Autour du Monde boutique and an art gallery on rue de Turenne, it’s hard to know where to turn!
In terms of the Bensimon collections themselves, once again there are several lines. The spring-summer 2013 bag and tennis shoes, the vintage collection featuring high-top, bi-material sneakers, multi-colored multi-purpose luggage, candles and cosmetics, and the B-Team collection, Addicted to Love, featuring classics revisited in a slightly more teenage version.
Finally, the women’s collection, featuring the brand’s basics, finishes and emblematic fabrics, all in acidic hues and pretty prints.
