On Saturday 10 October, from 3 pm to 6 pm, the terrace of the restaurant Mimosa, 2 rue Royale (Paris 8th), offers a bouquet made of red berries and fruit, without a single flower. Free admission.
The operation is called Le Jardin Berry Rouge. It accompanies the launch of the flavoured vodka Grey Goose Berry Rouge, which had already held a first date on 19 September.
What you can take from it:
A free bouquet, made of red berry shoots and fruit. It is prepared by Saison, a contemporary florist who works with plants.
A card to write on the spot. A calligraphy stand is planned to personalise it, which makes a gift ready to give.
A cocktail to taste, the Goose Berry, made with cranberry juice, lemonade and lemon juice over ice, served with an artisanal ice cream. The programme does not state whether it is free.
Two practical tips. The number of bouquets has not been disclosed, so it is better to arrive early within the 3 pm–6 pm window. And a bouquet of berries is perishable: give it the same day, or eat it.
Alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health. Drink in moderation.
