Ballantine’s 12 ans d’âge by Leif Podhajsky: To symbolize the 12 years of ageing required to mature the product, visionary artist Leif Podhajsky has imagined 12 independent strata to dress the bottle of Ballantine’s 12 ans d’âge. An artistic metaphor, this creative and innovative sculpture uses the 3D printing technique.
Opaque at the base of the structure, the 12 elements superimposed harmoniously around the bottle become finer and finer as the eye moves through the creation.
and are adorned with the color of the precious liquid at the top, highlighting the contribution of aging to its chromatic palette.
These 12 layers are set on an oak base, echoing the casks used to age whisky and adding their own touch to the aromatic palette.
