On December 12 and 13, the Maison Veuve Clicquot unveils a unique experience in Paris’s Marais district: an exhibition trail, a pop-up store and an ephemeral bar inspired by the epistolary universe dear to the “Grande Dame de Champagne”.
A pioneer in exporting her champagne around the world, Madame Clicquot is renowned for boldly running her House from the tip of her pen.
La Messagerie takes visitors deep into Madame Clicquot’s correspondence. From the origin of her letters to their distribution, visitors follow an interactive tour featuring historical anecdotes from the House: orders from Napoleon III, deliveries to Mexico, the Baltic Sea crossing…
The experience continues with the discovery of a real post office. The Messagerie ephemeral boutique gives visitors the chance to offer products from the ‘Clicquot Mail’ range, this year’s limited edition, while offering an exclusive personalization and shipping service for Christmas.
The ephemeral bar allows you to end your visit on a gourmet note with a tasting of Veuve Clicquot Brut Carte Jaune or Rosé, accompanied by gourmet bites.
Before La Messagerie opens, pay tribute to correspondence by logging on to lamessagerie.fr: write a short message for someone close to you, and they’ll receive a notification inviting them to come directly to La Messagerie, rue de Turenne, to discover their personalized mail.
This festive season, surprise your loved ones: Veuve Clicquot will print your messages and send your champagne!
