For its new Spring Summer 2014 couture collection, the Bulgarian designers invited us to come and discover their illuminated creations, in the town hall of Paris’s 4th arrondissement.
Rhythmic music, shadow puppets… Models pose behind a white canvas.
A men’s and women’s duo, in revisited wedding outfits, entirely embroidered with resin and crystals, reveal the talent of the artisans behind this new collection by the brand’s duo.
The show is on.
Models walk the runway in black and white, confronted by futuristic materials such as neoprene and revisited tulle.
Jackets with over-the-shoulder epaulets, bodysuits and bustiers are almost or entirely embroidered with stones and crystals, giving the “on aura tout vu” look a precious yet dark edge.
Reinforcements and tightening systems bring a sportswear spirit to the look.
Light is the primary inspiration for this collection. On or off, it illuminates the models with stones under the light or LEDs sewn under the lining of the garments in the dark.
The looks are structured, precise.
White stripes of make-up on the hair and lacquered hair at the back, as well as intense eye make-up, give the sportswear spirit a warrior soul.
Known for their over-the-top attitude, designers Livia Stoianova and Yassen Samouilov lit up the show.
