British designer Jonathan Anderson likes to confuse and surprise. His men’s wardrobe is full of surprises, starting with his three-quarter coats in delicate materials and clearly visible ceramic buttons, coordinated with very long pants, ending open at the ankles and worn high-waisted. Short jackets in shearling or leather are reminiscent of very Seventies silhouettes, but the designer is quick to break the codes. Nappa leather takes on color, shirts end with ultra-long sleeves, tops are worn close to the body and feature an elasticated waistband. Of note: XXL white scarves ending in bangs, the ultra-soft mohair generally used to make teddy bears, the reference to “pataphysics” as a source of inspiration…
