Schiaparelli today inaugurates its new website. Featuring exclusive content, never-before-seen photos and reference information. This new digital platform lets you discover (or rediscover) the many facets of the Schiaparelli universe.
To celebrate the first Schiaparelli Haute Couture show in 60 years, the site opens with a virtual collage revealing the behind-the-scenes of the Spring/Summer 2014 collection. This multimedia scrapbook provides access to films and photos that open windows onto the savoir-faire of Haute Couture. For the first time, an interactive video presents an Haute Couture fashion show, creating a multi-faceted experience in the discovery of this collection, a blend of passions, artisanal techniques and mastery of the craft.
After this eventful home page, www.schiaparelli.com offers four sections: Maison Schiaparelli, 21 place Vendôme, Collections and News. All cover the rich history of the house, as well as its most recent news: from Elsa Schiaparelli’s beginnings when she founded her fashion house in 1927, to the presentation of the January 2014 Haute Couture show (the first since the House closed in 1954). Each section provides information, anecdotes, photos and exclusive videos relating to Schiaparelli, Marco Zanini (Creative Director), Farida Khelfa (House ambassador) and various fashion projects.
Combining history and contemporary projects, the House of Schiaparelli invited Dutch director Christian Borstlap to reinterpret Elsa Schiaparelli’s little revolutions and other inventions in an animated film, Elsa Schiaparelli’s famous firsts.
www.schiaparelli.comviendra will be enriched with new headings and sections over the coming months.
