From April 2 to June 2, 2014, Galerie Sakura offers a phantasmagorical journey into the world of superheroes and science fiction in the 600 m² of its space located in the heart of Bercy Village. It’s an opportunity to discover the hidden facets of the superman myth through everyday scenes, zany situations and anachronistic images. It’s also a chance to fantasize about the presence of aliens, confirming fears of an earthly apocalypse.
Through this journey through unreal, fascinating, paranormal yet almost familiar icons, we reflect on man’s fragility and humanity. In an age marked by crisis, doubt and the questioning of our lifestyles, it’s essential to ask ourselves what our role in society is. 15 talented photographers from different countries and cultures come together for a unique exhibition based on these fantastic parallel universes!
