TIFFANY & CO. ANNOUNCES THE OPENING OF THE BLUE BOX CAFE AND A SPACE DEDICATED TO THE NEW HOME & ACCESSORIES COLLECTION IN ITS FIFTH AVENUE FLAGSHIP IN NEW YORK

New York, November 2017 – A few days ago, Maison Tiffany & Co. unveiled the long-awaited fourth floor of its New York flagship on Fifth Avenue, which now includes for the first time a new dining concept within the store: Le Blue Box Cafe.
This cleverly designed new floor features pieces from the new Home & Accessories collection, including everyday objects, a “baby boutique”, a space dedicated to silver coins, a selection of Vintage books from Editions Assouline, and a laboratory dedicated to the new Tiffany fragrance.
“Both the café and the redesign of the Home & Accessories floor reflect a modern experience of luxury,” says Reed Krakoff, Chief Artistic Officer of Tiffany & Co. “This space is experimental and experiential, a showcase of the new Tiffany.

On November 8, 2017, the House hosted a party in the flagship to celebrate the launch of the Home & Accessories Collection and the inauguration of the Blue Box Cafe, an evening to which actresses Olivia Wilde and Riley Keough were invited along with Alessandro Bogliolo(Chief Executive OfficerofTiffany & Co.)
The striking interior design incorporating industrial details evokes the craftsmanship and heritage of the Maison. Unexpected and original touches sit harmoniously with elegant finishes such as marble and amazonite, reflecting the new Home & Accessories collection that emphasizes everyday luxury.
– The staircase leading to the fourth floor features a trio of light chains created by French duo Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec.
– The impressive fixture is surrounded by hand-drawn ampersands, a motif from the new Home & Accessories collection.
– A portrait of Charles Lewis Tiffany was created using 8,000 painted screws, bringing a contemporary style to the House’s founder.
