Marion Bartoli, the former tennis player, has created her own sneaker collection in collaboration with Cristina Batlan’s fashion label Musette.
This first capsule collection comprises nineteen models of luxury sneakers, including four men’s models.
The “Premier envol” collection blends the finest Italian leathers (shagreen-style calfskin, printed leather, metallic leather, python, etc.) with unexpected elements such as Swarovski crystals, or a rigid brushed metal tongue.
Marion Bartoli’s aim was to create comfortable footwear while retaining a feminine touch.
To be able to present these models to us today, she admits to having worked hard for four months with the stylist. What about a line of sports equipment ?We’ll see about that later,” she confides, without putting the idea to one side, “but I’d be more interested in making clothes.
Malika Ménard and La Fouine have already adopted these famous sneakers, so you know what you have to do if you want to be on trend this summer.
The luxury sneakers are available from 299 euros to 590 euros at the Musette boutique, 69 rue Saint Martin in Paris.
