The ’90s was a promising decade of community diversity and unity. Beginning with the liberation of Nelson Mandela and continuing with community promotion, this century was also the golden age of Hip Hop. Artists, political activists and experimentalism became the celebration of diverse cultural acceptance. The digital world of the late 90’s introduced the promise of a global humanitarian community. Recent events are beginning to reveal this progress, and now is the time to rediscover the promise of the 90s.
