From April 22, the two YOOM Dim Sum restaurants in Paris will be offering a selection of sweet and savoury dishes with a Singaporean flavour on their menus for two months. They will also be available for delivery throughout France on YOOM.fr. These exclusive creations are the fruit of a partnership between the Singapore Tourism Board and the YOOM team, who teamed up with two award-winning Singaporean chefs, Justin Quek and Janice Wong, to create these unique recipes. The Singapore Tourism Board invited YOOM ‘s Chef to discover the Lion City and immerse himself in its culinary culture. Singapore is known for its rich, multicultural, innovative and committed gastronomy, from street food to Michelin-starred restaurants that are shining a light on the contemporary gastronomic scene. Already a specialist in Franco-Asian fusion and widely recognized for the quality of its “bouchées voyageuses”, YOOM offers traditional recipes revisited with a modern twist. The exclusive creations resulting from this encounter will be featured on the menus of YOOM ‘s two Parisian restaurants for two months, and delivered throughout France.
On the menu:
- Hargao dim sum with shrimp and pork flavored with curry & combawa
- Xiao long bao, or juicy steamed bites, with Laksa, the tangy coconut milk soup popular in Singapore
- Bao au Chili Crab, moist buns filled with Singapore’s famous seafood dish
- Lui Da Gun, or glutinous rice rolls, filled with chocolate ginger pepper ganache.
