Restaurant Le Camondo reopens the doors to its beautiful, large indoor terrace with a new team in the kitchen and dining room.
Chef Fanny Herpin takes up the torch with new culinary creations.
Located at 61 bis Rue de Monceau in Paris’s 8th arrondissement, just around the corner from Parc Monceau, Le Camondo restaurant has moved into the grounds of the private mansion housing the eponymous museum. After three months of confinement, the restaurant reopens its beautiful terrace with a new team in the kitchen and dining room. The teams have pulled out all the stops to bring the place back to life. “After this particular period, I’m taking on a new challenge. I took advantagé of the confinement to think up my new creations. Come and discover the menu in the exceptional setting of Le Camondo restaurant, and enjoy the large indoor terrace in particular. French cuisine is part of our culture and contributes to France’s influence. I think it’s my duty to surpass myself every day in my cooking, and now we need the French and Parisians to support us so we don’t lose this precious heritage,” confides chef Fanny Herpin. On the menu, for example, a salad of beans, trumpet zucchini and pistachios as a starter (€14), Corsican eagle-bar cooked au plat, spinach shoots and artichokes as a main course (€32) and Honey-roasted apricot, mascarpone cream and granola for dessert (€12). Dishes are regularly renewed to the delight of regulars.
