In this Fall/Winter 2018 men’s collection, everything is so Versace that you’ll have that familiar feeling of coming home.

A wardrobe for a man who is not afraid to explore his wilder side – Versace Homme Fall Winter 2018 is about playing with the house’s codes and reinterpreting them, through younger eyes, across different subcultures. A collection that reinvents rules, ignores boundaries and celebrates the art of individuality, with a look-to-me personality that is taken to another level.

THE WILD SIDE – that wild part of a man he has always known. Equally bold and refined, the Versace man takes risks with color and texture, never doubting his style. Print is key – the “Amore e Psiche” print brings out its Versace side, referencing ancient Greek elements on a bright color palette. The print “Sipario” is on the velvet of the clothes and accessories, drawing the curtain on the drama.

HOME RUN – inspiration is drawn from the closed-door intimacy of the Versace “casa” where the only rule is that there are no rules. Pure anarchy reigns.
Accessories are crafted from lush interior elements: heritage velvet prints on clutches and travel bags recall velvet drapes and curtains.
Household items take center stage: bracelets are made from forks and knives. A Chesterfield sofa from Versace Home was born on outerwear and accessories detailed with sofa buttons on leather and velvet. Retro Medusa headphones and phone covers, the new men’s essentials revisited with this Versace delight.

IT’S ALL ABOUT CONTEXT – the 5 Qs: worn with what, on whom, where, when and why not?
The style is unexpected. The looks combine elements from work to play: the Versace bathrobe becomes a tracksuit worn over well-tailored jumpsuits.
Mixing and matching tartan prints of different colors create unexpected new patterns in suits and coats, while pants are very tight or loose, but all cut short, well above the ankle.
Even the materials don’t play by the rules: the basketball jersey is made from the finest silk, the men’s tartan is complemented by flamboyant prints, silk cushion inserts are placed on cotton sweatshirts. It is the mix of elements that define the subculture – the epitome of unleashed individuality.

A CHAIN REACTION – launched in this show, the new iconic Versace sneakers with their must-have link soles that speak directly to the millennial generation. An original design element that reinforces the link between bespoke and casual – and the different sides of the Versace man.
