As the curtain rises on couture week, diamond finery and sumptuous gowns parade majestically.
In the heart of the City of Lights, in the showroom of jeweller de Grisogono, Gilles Mansard and Lan Yu Liu brought together their guests, actresses and supermodels for a private dinner created by the Robuchon workshop. Guests included Princess Clotilde Courau, Jenaye Noah, Cindy Bruna and Lela Shiqing Wang. Designer Lan Yu, who paraded her Haute-Couture creations on the same day, partnered the jeweler for a second time this year, after presenting her collections at the Cannes Film Festival in May.
For this event, de Grisogono unveiled a new Haute Joaillerie collection that offers diamonds all the boldness of its usually colorful collections. Melody of Diamonds showcases the talent with which Fawaz Gruosi plays with sizes, shapes and textures, and the way he reinterprets the great classics in powerful shapes, pure compositions, unexpected combinations, voluptuous volumes and perfect proportions. Carat-weight creations that capture the eye with their originality and generosity. Unique rings whose aesthetics and silhouettes break away from orthodox thinking.
