Olympia Le Tan has talent in her blood. Daughter of the famous illustrator Pierre Le Tan, talent runs in the family. Her little sister Cléo recently published a novel in which she tells the story of “Une Famille”, and her brother Alexis plays records at the hottest parties.

Getting back to Olympia, it’s no secret that she’s had dazzling success with her book-shaped minaudières, each numbered and limited to just 16 pieces, making these pieces veritable works of art. For the past three seasons, Olympia Le Tan has tackled ready-to-wear, always with the pin-up sixties inspirations that are so characteristic of the designer’s universe. Each time, the shows are real events in spectacular locations (a theater, the Hunting Museum for the first two shows).

Last night, guests met at the Aquarium du Trocadéro, where models passed under galleries of sharks and other marine animals. The sea was definitely the theme of the collection. Sailor and fish prints were predominant. The frivolous, casual silhouettes put the audience in a good mood, so much so that you could feel the fun of the models on parade. The show closed with a performance by the smiling Cléo Le Tan, a family affair that makes the clan all the more endearing.
