Angèle Lancel was a visionary and creative designer, launching her own brand of French leather goods in 1876 and calling it simply Lancel. An integral part of French heritage, the brand exploded in the 1900s. In Paris, every woman had a Lancel in her hand, including Edith Piaf, who contributed to the brand’s legend.
