ATELIER GUSTAVOLINS Pièces d’Exception – Autumn Winter 2013-2014
Architecture as written by Tadao Ando, the simplicity of its perfection. His unique, contemporary aesthetic plays with space and nature, water and light, concrete and wood. Between the reality of the physical and the lightness of the spirit. “Tadao Ando’s work has always impressed me. This architecture that leaves room for emptiness, the role of light…” Gustavo Lins, an architect by training, remembers this to create a city atmosphere with a hint of tropical forest in his collections. Just like the Brazilian cities he grew up in. The first sensations he rediscovers awaken long-forgotten impressions, and are reflected in his creative work rooted in the urban environment. The designer’s memory seeks archaic reference points in his roots to build the balance of his lines.
He selects materials that appeal to the touch, emphasizing sensation and the tactile. He works with grays to shake them up with flashes of color and dense forest prints.

Without doubt his most accomplished collection. Magnificent splashes of color sublimate this geometric collection with many highlights.
Women borrow from men’s wardrobes by day to become femme fatales by night. Men’s wardrobe is essential.
The colors: concrete gray, midnight blue, absinthe vermeer yellow, carnelian powder pink, steel cornflower, fresh green or lavender gray contrast with pastel white and black.
We highlight the collaborations with the finest flower artisans: Maison Agnelle, Goossens Paris and Maison Lesage.
