Rosés take center stage on summer terrace tables. We love their fresh, fruity character. Our two favorites to enjoy over the vacations.

CAMILLE’S WHIM

La Caprice de Camille

La Caprice de Camille

Each Camille Cayran cuvée is a promise of pleasure that’s always kept. The Camille collection brings together top-of-the-range wines, in all three colors, from the best plots on the Cairanne hillsides. . The rosé, a whim that is always forgiven, combines the power of Grenache, which makes up 90% of the blend, with a complement of very fine Cinsault. Classically vinified in vats, with a few hours’ maceration, it boasts a magnificent soft pink color and an extrovert nose of peony, grapefruit, white peach and red berries. Its fleshy, greedy palate develops generously, supported by great freshness, from the attack through to a very tasty vine peach finish.

ROSEBUD

Rosebud

Rosebud

Classified as an AOP Languedoc, Rosebud is a highly aromatic, well-structured blend of 70% Syrah and 30% old vines of Cinsault. Produced from low yields (35 hl/ha), half the wine is fermented in one-wine barrels, giving it roundness and fullness on the palate. With its luminous pink color, Rosebud has an expressive floral nose of red rose, followed by redcurrant, blackcurrant and white pepper. Dense, it blossoms on a well-structured palate underpinned by beautiful, melted acidity. Its silky texture and freshness are a pure delight, as is its clean, crisp, fruity finish. .
