British shoe designer Charlotte Olympia presents a brand-new capsule collection. Called “Incy”, it echoes the traditional English nursery rhyme“I ncy Wincy the spider crawled into the gutter, but it began to rain and the rain washed her away. When the sun came out and the gutter dried, Incy Wincy climbed again”.
As you can see, this collection isn’t for women, but for their little girls, little girls who want to do everything just like Mom. Pretty model shoes, in a fun, offbeat style. For back-to-school, they can wear the “Kitty Flats” and “Beatrix” booties in velvet and pony. The “Charlotte’s Web” model will be adorned with Swarovski rhinestones. The “Tutti Frutti” and “Pamela” ballerinas will be available in rainbow-colored satin. For the little ones, there are “Bisoux” slippers in vibrant pinks and bright reds, and “Kitten” or “Wincy” ink slippers for first steps. What’s more, each pair comes with a coloring book and crayons.
This Incy capsule collection will be launched exclusively from August 12 on the website www.charlotteolympia.com
To mark the occasion, Charlotte Olympa will donate 10% of the first month’s sales of the collection to the Art Room association, which promotes art as a therapeutic tool to help children develop self-confidence and independence. www.theartroom.org.uk
