The World Cup will be held in Rio next summer. And while some of you will be donning the jersey, what better way to immerse yourself in Brazilian fervor than by waiting until, say, next spring?

As you’ll have gathered, this Tara Jarmon spring-summer 2014 collection is directly inspired by Brazil, as Victor Hugo so aptly described“Pays, aux arbres semés d’or“. Inspired by the Cariocas, the contemporary art of the Campana brothers, samba, bossa nova… For this new season, the Tara Jarmon woman will have no time to sleep, carried away by the frenzy and energy of this country. A multi-faceted country in constant motion, as are the Tara Jarmon collections.

A sparkling collection in which materials become more fluid, and the most masculine cuts are revisited in a more sensual way. Chic and casual are the watchwords, with structured silhouettes that play with volume, while sporty and military inspirations are given a youthful twist. Bright colors combine with blue, night, bright and indigo. Putty and white, stripes, poppy red, eucalyptus green, black… On the printed side, we find graphic, signage, naive, stylized and jacquard motifs. The range of fabrics is renewed by innovative qualities with fresh touches, technical fabrics or more rustic ones, for dynamic silhouettes: cotton voile, poplin, taffeta, light denim, coarse linen, ethnic embroidery, crepe de chine, wild silk.

An urban style, mix and match of feminine, graphic and quirky pieces. A truly fresh and colorful collection to discover from mid-January 2014 in all Tara Jarmon outlets.
