Last night, Wednesday July 3, was the highlight of Paris fashion week: Zahia Dehar inaugurated her ephemeral patisserie-boudoir!

This delightful and whimsical gourmet boudoir, located in the prestigious Rue Boissy d’Anglas at L’Eclaireur, is a luxury showcase where addicts to her label can try on and treat themselves to exclusive pieces from her Gâteau-Bonbon ready-to-wear collection. Zahia Dehar arrived under a horde of photographers and cameras and headed for her pop-up store, where numerous fashion and film personalities were waiting to congratulate her on the success of this magnificent project.
The designer was joined by a host of celebrities: Laurence Ferrari, Audrey Pulvar, Hapsatou Sy, Béatrice Dalle, Samuel Le Bihan, Elodie Frégé, Josiane Balasko accompanied by her daughter Marilou Berry, Nikos Aliagas, Lola Creton, Jean-Claude Jitrois and Sarah Marshall, William Carnimolla, Christian Courtin-Clarins, designer Christian Ghion…

Guests could also discover the exclusive menu of pastries created by Sébastien Gaudard for Zahia Dehar, and sold exclusively in this ephemeral boutique, while enjoying the symphonies of the baroque orchestra “Les Neveux de Rameau” led by young conductor and singer François Pagot. While savoring a stylized macaron, customers can treat themselves to flower ornaments in powdered sugar, faux candy and Smarties effects sprinkled profusely on tulles and silks, combi-shorts with translucent glazes cut from muslins so creamy they appear whipped into chantilly.Zahia Dehar’s Gâteau-Bonbon collection evokes the greed of childhood, borrowing from cupcakes their sky-high color and lace-pleated paper collars.

Entirely designed by La Mode en Images, the Zahia Dehar boutique is the very essence of an intimate boudoir, where the nobility of materials blends perfectly with the creativity of products from the designer’s collection. In an entirely “hand-sewn” space, adorned with 18th-century moldings with fontange bows, pastries and lingerie intermingle in this custom-designed salon: from the powder pink alcantara upholstered walls, to the sideboards embellished with ostrich feathers, to the Royal Albert silverware or the sumptuous Murano chandelier placed in the center of the boudoir…every element of the décor reflects the work and talent of the designer.
