The e-crire aufeminin literary prize is back again this year, to bring out new hidden talents in writing and promote literary creation dedicated to digital media. A project in partnership with the Maison Longchamp, which, like aufeminin.com, is keen to make women’s talents resonate further and higher!
To take part, nothing could be simpler. Before August 14, 2013, Internet users can send in their unpublished short story, inspired by one of the three themes proposed this year: 1) My bag, I slip all my life into it. But…where did it go? 2) My passport has expired, are you sure? 3) I follow the plane in the sky with my eyes. Now it all begins.
Once published on the aufeminin.com website, it’s up to Internet users to enter the competition and “like” their favorite short stories on Facebook. From there, a prestigious jury, chaired by journalist and writer Tatiana de Rosnay, will award three prizes to the three best stories among the fourteen selected by readers and the aufeminin.com editorial team. It’s an audacious project which, with the invaluable help of digital media, will once again enable the emergence of new talents such as Olivier Norek,3rd prizewinner in 2011. Not only did this detective lieutenant win the Prix e-crire aufeminin, but thanks to personalized support from publishing professionals, he was able to write his first novel, Code 93 (Michel Lafont), which won this year’s Premier Prix du Polar du Quai de la Râpée. “It was thanks to the Prix e-crire aufeminin that I discovered I could write. For me, it was a revelation. And my novel manages to emerge from among over 1,000 new thrillers every year!” enthuses Olivier Norek. A true revelation with the allure of a fairy tale, opening up to you once again!
