On the occasion of Designer’s Days 2013, CONFIDENCE AND LIGHT presents the new “VAGABOND” luminaire by Fred Lambert.

Confidence and Light designs and manufactures lighting products for commercial spaces in France. Fluorescent or LED sources, the products aim for excellence in terms of use, ergonomics and energy savings.
In 2012, Confidence and Light created a publishing house aimed at the general public and specifiers. It stands out for the quality of its “made in France” manufacturing and elegant design.

In 2013 Confidence and Light signed a new collaboration with designer, graphic artist and scenographer Fred Lambert. Vagabond, his new luminaire, is nomadic, light and poetic.

“Vagabond plugs in anywhere, so it can be installed anywhere in a space. Its shape is simple and generous. Designed in three dimensions, the compositions are infinite. Installed in clusters, the luminaires appear to converse or simply participate in the life of a space.”

Its aluminum globe with a two-tone finish (white on the inside, metallic on the outside) can be suspended from the ceiling or hung on the wall; it is height-adjustable thanks to a counterweight system.

It connects to the baseboard, freeing it from the constraints of electrical inputs from the ceiling: it’s free…

Because tomorrow will be changeable, Vagabond adapts, with empathy, to place, atmosphere and use: “Je ne suis qu’un vagabond/I’m just a vagabond”.
