Megan Gale, one of Australia’s best-known models, has worked in the fashion world for over 15 years. She was catapulted onto the international scene when she was cast in a Vodafone Italy advertisement in March 1999.
In 2001 she became the ambassador for David Jones department stores in Australia, as well as a TV presenter on Australia’s Nine and Foxtel, plus an acting career.
Megan is Creative Director and stylist for the “Isola By Megan Gale” brand.
She has created a chic, sexy, sophisticated spirit for the swimwear line, which is aimed largely at women in their 30s and 40s, although there are also models for women in their twenties.
The Isola by Megan Gale line is made up of mismatched pieces, which was an essential element for Megan, as she believes that not all women are made the same, including herself. This allows women to buy their tops in the right size and their bottoms according to size and shape, as well as mixing their favorite prints with plains.
Praised by women who use larger cup sizes, Isola opened up to the DD/E size market, which proved a resounding success, thanks in part to the meticulous shaping work.
Isola (Italian for island) is the result of Megan’s passion for the beach. With isola by Megan Gale, she has transcribed and sublimated everything she loves best about the summer season: idyllic beaches, the shadows of palm trees, turquoise waters and long, quiet days on the sand.
