My Crazy Pop is an innovative project, the only one of its kind in France, led by Christel Leflaive, who, during her professional travels across the Atlantic, was literally fascinated by the “PopCorn store” concept. She decided to give a new direction to her professional career and set up the first PopCorn store in France. She received support from Paris Initiative Entreprise, and ran a successful crowdfunding campaign via the Kiss Kiss Bank Bank website.
The basic idea was to bring Popcorn from the United States and convert it to French gastronomic culture, offering a wide range of flavors. What’s more, the creator wanted to offer Popcorn popped by hand. Like the leading brands in the United States, My Crazy Pop is committed to making Popcorn sublime. A combination of choice of kernels, artisanal production methods, flavour processing and distribution in the adjoining boutique creates a trendy, surprising and succulent delicacy.
These little corn jewels are offered in new shapes and are sold in the brand’s Parisian PopCorn store, at 15 rue Trousseau, in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. The 15 permanent flavors on offer will be enriched each month with temporary flavors, following the rhythm of the seasons or cultural and sporting events.
An e-commerce website is currently being developed to extend access to the product to all gourmets (to be launched in mid-2014).
