A few days ago we had the pleasure of previewing the new MYTF1 device.
A forerunner in digital developments and France’s undisputed digital leader, MYTF1 is innovating with CONNECT.
At a glance and on a single screen, viewers will be able to interact as never before with their program, in total synchronization with the on-air live feed.
CONNECT offers 4 major innovations:
– L’instant Replay, a world first: a spectacular soccer goal, the tears of a talent from The Voice, a performance from Danse avec les Stars, a news clip… For the first time, while watching the show, viewers can choose the video clip that thrilled them and share it instantly on social networks. L’instant replay is the replay of social networks!
– Bonus videos: The first impressions of a couple of dancers just after their live performance, the interview with the outgoing Secret Story… The public will be able to discover exclusive footage of a show, in total synchronization with the broadcast on TF1.
– Participation in social discussions: without leaving the screen and with just 1 click, you can reply to messages, follow and chat with viewers, presenters and personalities who are “live tweeting” a program.
Enrichment through interactivity and games:
– Participate in major news events and react live to enrich and deepen the news.
– Make predictions on major sporting events live: a penalty is whistled. Will the player score it, and where on the goal?
– And in The Voice, put yourself in the shoes of a coach with “Le 5ème Coach”: during the blind auditions and battles, it will be possible to buzz a talent in total synchronization with the show. Will viewers be keen enough to guess which talent will be selected? And with which coach?
Launched on Saturday February 2 to coincide with the new season of The Voice, CONNECT will then be deployed on major on-air events in the entertainment, news and sports worlds, including the eagerly-awaited FIFA 2014 World Cup qualifier between France and Spain on March 26.
