The story of Réminiscence is a pretty one. Founded some forty years ago in Juan les Pins, it was through the world of perfumery and jewelry that the French house chose to make its name. With no real marketing strategy, it differentiates itself from others by the desire of its founders to materialize the fantasy that drives them, whether in perfumes or jewelry. Indeed, their first perfume boutique was a concept in itself, more akin to a discotheque than a perfumery, although the scent emanating from it (notably patchouli) was a reminder of their first passion.
Perfume boutiques, perfume shopping bags, it’s clear that perfume is an obsession for Réminiscence, which brings me to my first discovery: Oud perfume. Oud, the myth of the Orient, is an intoxicating woody fragrance. Mixed, it also reacts on the handsomeness of men and women, casting an aura of mystery and sensuality over them. The scents are rich and one thing’s for sure: people will always turn to you to compliment your perfume if you choose Oud, so original and bewitching is it.
But to confine Réminiscence to perfume would be a big mistake, because the company’s jewels are little marvels that would be a shame to overlook. The models chosen during a street casting in Milan already hint at the finesse and beauty of the collections.

Sweet Rock Collection
A huge favorite of mine at Réminiscence, mixing fluorescent and pastel colors (hence the term “neon-pastel” that I use all the time), on classic and sophisticated shapes, you can feel that the designers had fun with this collection. Chains entwined with stones, winks of insane sensuality, explosive colors, I can’t help but abdicate and cheer these creations.
Collection “Les Fleurs Sacrées
Inspired by Sicily (one of Réminiscence’s founders is of Calabrian origin), this silver and gold-plated collection is more serious than its predecessor. The cross motifs, reminiscent of religion, are numerous, but always softened by floral detail (which you can only see if you pay attention). This collection sums up Réminiscence’s state of mind: beautiful things, sometimes fascinating, but always with an eye for detail and fun, notions dear to the house.
