The Balvenie: the creation of a precious 50-year-old Single Malt

David Stewart’s exceptional longevity as The Balvenie Cellar Master has resulted in the creation of a precious 50-year-old Single Malt.

50 years to the day after his arrival at The Balvenie distillery, David Dtewart celebrates his incredible dedication with the release of a rare Single Malt distilled in 1962.

Only 88 bottles of The Balvenie 50 Years Old will be released worldwide, including 6 on the French market from October 2012 at the recommended retail price of 23,400 euros.
