Villa Schweppes launch party: perfumes from Cannes
Last week saw the launch of Villa Schweppes. The event took place at the Pavillon Napoléon, a stone’s throw from Place de l’Opéra. Parked in front of the entrance, a sublime convertible in the colors of the famous beverage suggested that things were about to get off to a flying start. The aim of the event was to present the Villa program installed during the Cannes fortnight.

Once inside, I bumped into the members of Airnadette at the Photocall and thought it was going to be a fun evening. We’d already spoken highly of the group at the inauguration of 114. Gunther Love, the band’s head honcho, will be the muse of the Villa during the Cannes Film Festival. That evening, sporting a fine moustache and bow tie, he was in top form. We also bump into Marco Prince, who we had seen an hour earlier at the Burberry party, and who will be in charge of yoga classes for the Villa in the morning. In charge of event organization: La Clique. Greg Broust, the Baron’s DJ, is also on hand. A pleasant evening, sipping champagne and listening to a private concert.

Let’s get down to the program of festivities. This year, from May 16 to 27, 2012, Cannes will be abuzz with activity. The Villa Schweppes is back, ready to set the sands of the Côte d’Azur ablaze. The ephemeral venue will be set up on the beach of the 3.14 hotel.
The ten-day program includes yoga classes with Marco Prince in the mornings, to help you recover from the sleepless nights of the past. And in the evenings, we’ll be DJ-ing the night away. Mixed evenings dedicated to the films of the Croisette will also be organized here. Airnadette and Gunther Love in the Villa DA. It’s sure to be a great time.
