Amazon.com/fashion, partner of the “Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations” exhibition
Amazon invites you to discover the gala opening of the “Impossible Conversations” exhibition at New York’s Metropolitan Museum.
The ceremony will be broadcast live tonight at 3:30 a.m. and will be available for streaming at www.Amazon.com/fashion.
Amazon.com and its fashion sites, Shopbop, Endless, Zappos, and MYHABIT are partnering the “Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations” exhibition at New York’s Metropolitan Museum, saluting the way Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada have shaped fashion over the past 90 years by challenging established norms. Many iconic pieces will be on display, along with photos and other memorabilia illustrating the impact each had on fashion as it exists today.
The exhibition, open to the general public from May 10 to August 19, 2012, also features a virtual video dialogue between the two women, examining their similarities and differences.
