Unibet Open de Paris Live Poker Tournament

Along with the Winamax Poker Tour final, it’s the other big poker event of the spring: the Unibet Open de Paris. For its return to France, online gaming company Unibet is organizing the 20th edition of its Unibet Open live poker tournament in Paris at the Cercle Cadet, from Thursday May 3 to Sunday May 6.
This 2nd stop on the 2012 circuit will bring together over 450 amateur and professional players, including several celebrities such as sports journalist Pierre Ménès, Sébastien Chabal, singer Kool Shen from the group NTM, and international poker champions David Benyamine, Tony G and Jean Paul Pasqualini. On the strength of its success, the overall prize pool for this Unibet Open de Paris is around €800,000, which will be shared between the top 50 players. The overall winner of the Unibet Open will take home €150,000. Over the past 2 months, some 6,500 players have competed in online qualifying tournaments on the unibet.fr website for a chance to win a €1,650 entry ticket and accommodation at the 4-star Concorde Lafayette Paris hotel.
For latecomers, it’s still possible to take part, as the last places will be available directly at the Cercle Cadet on Wednesday May 2 from 8:00 pm, and on Thursday May 3 and Friday May 4 from 11:00 am.
The tournament and final table on Sunday May 6 will be broadcast live on www.unibet.fr.
After the Prague tournament held last February, the Paris Unibet Open is the second in the series, before the one in London in September and on the Caribbean island of Saint-Martin for the 5th anniversary of the Unibet Open in December. Qualifying tournaments for these upcoming events are already available at www.unibet.fr.
