Dome concerts – Grandes Ecuries, Domaine de Chantilly
Offered to the public for the first time in Chantilly, equestrian art will be associated with a great virtuoso for a unique encounter under the renovated dome of the Grandes Ecuries, the most imposing in the world, built in the 18th century by the 7th Prince of Condé. On Saturday November 5, the equestrian concert will feature riders from the Musée Vivant du Cheval, accompanied by Olivier Cazal and young virtuosos, performing their finest equestrian numbers in sumptuous costumes and settings.
Sophie Bienaimé, artistic director of the Grandes Ecuries, will present a selection of the best equestrian numbers from “Cheval, rêve et poésie”, “Sur la Route de la Soie” and “Un prince russe à Chantilly”, created at the Musée Vivant du Cheval, with musical piano accompaniment by virtuoso Olivier Cazal, accompanied by a group of students from the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris.
A show in two acts: a classical part and an invitation to travel. An opportunity to (re)discover this unique and magical place to play or hear a concert. All the artists who have performed here over the past two years, as well as the public, bear witness to this.
On the program: Handel, Tchaikovsky, Vivaldi, de Falla, Piazzola
First equestrian concert Saturday November 5, 8:30 p.m.
