Eric Tibusch Paris presents “Androïde”: a time travel through different cultures, by a woman who comes to us from a distant time.

It’s a woman from the future that inspired Eric Tibusch’s Spring/Summer 2011 Couture collection: a journey into the past to better understand humanity by appropriating traits specific to each culture. Ancient Greece, Africa, China, Amazonia, Europe and especially France…are the countries whose cultures the robotized woman revisits, extrapolating strong elements that are transformed into dresses with breathtaking details, signatures of the couturier’s creativity.

Over-sized bolero, hose sleeves and maxi sleeves, fishnets, mirrored details, tutus… are all elements that hint at these cultures…
Solstiss lace mixes with precious linen organza, devoured linen intermingles with linen guipure; zebra-skin bustiers rub shoulders with Amazonian bird feathers and Chinese embroidery from another time…
Eric Tibusch Paris brings art to the catwalk, with paintings by artist/model “Alexandra Mas” cut, sewn and transformed into impactful silhouettes. This is the “Oeuvre d’Art Contemporain-à-Porter”, the signature of the House.
The 32 creations are followed by a Bride, laid bare by the couturier…
The jewel watches adorning the creations are part of the new Petrol collection and signed Motion Watches, Swiss Made.

For the 3rd time in a row, the show’s soundtrack was produced exclusively by American artist Nicole Slack Jones.
