Summer is fast approaching and with it comes the blue lagoon shade for a mermaid-like aquatic makeup.
We no longer hesitate to cover our eyes with a turquoise blue, which recalls the vacations and blue lagoons of the Caribbean.
A mermaid look
The flashy blue ones raise fears and reservations as soon as it is necessary to wear them. We immediately think that they will make us take 10 years and especially that they will give us a look “too much”. However, lagoon blue is the ideal shade to revive and refresh the look. It is a color that suits all skin tones, from the palest to the darkest. (Turquoise blue is particularly suitable for brown eyes, which appear lighter due to the contrast created by this sparkling color).
Applying eye shadow :
Gently apply eye shadow to the mobile eyelid all around the eye. If the blue you choose is really intense, you should avoid shading it to the eyebrows (you might look more like Bozo the clown than a mermaid). Place a lighter shade under the brow bone to brighten your eyes. If you’re not used to lagoon blue eyeshadow, opt for a translucent, pearly blue shade for a discreetly luminous result.
For an even more intense result, underline your eye contour with a large black (or dark blue) liner train that you stretch outwards.
We finish our make-up of the eyes by applying two layers of black mascara (the sobriety is of rigor after the pose of a blue make-up.)

Blush:
Choose a coral (the best) or rosewood blush, but above all not too red. Smile and sweep your cheeks with a large brush where your cheekbones are the most plump.
Lipstick:
The lips should be adorned with light colors so as not to steal the show from the blue lagoon eyes. Illuminate your mouth with an apricot-colored gloss or an iridescent lipstick in a discreet shade, not to say “nude”.

A hint of aquatic fragrance
A mermaid has to smell good to attract sailors into her nets. Opt for a light and refreshing eau de toilette in summer.
