Seiko, a pioneer in watchmaking innovation, presents its latest creations under the banner of technological revolution: the limited editions SSH145 and SSJ021 of the Astron GPS Solaire “Morning Star” collection. Inspired by the majesty of the sky at dawn, these watches embody the encounter between the art of watchmaking and technological advances, illustrating the perfect harmony between design and functionality.

The SSH145 model, with its 5X53 caliber, and the SSJ021, equipped with the 3X62 caliber, are distinguished by their ability to connect to the GPS satellite network to adjust the time with absolute precision in every time zone, while being powered solely by light. This technical feat underlines Seiko’s commitment to sustainable innovation, reducing the need for battery changes and offering remarkable autonomy.

The design of these watches is inspired by the enveloping darkness of celestial night, with black titanium cases and bracelets evoking the tranquility and depth of the cosmos. The dials, with their shimmering gradation, capture the essence of the dawning dawn, while the indexes and hands, coated in blue Lumibrite, guarantee optimal legibility in the dark, reminiscent of the first light of day.

Limited to 1,200 pieces each, the SSH145 and SSJ021 watches are more than just time-measuring instruments; they bear witness to a new era in watchmaking, in which solar GPS technology opens up unexplored horizons. The SSH145 model has a recommended retail price of €2,800, while the SSJ021 is available for €2,300, marking the accessibility of cutting-edge innovation to the public.

Availability scheduled for March 2024 invites watch lovers and technology enthusiasts to anticipate the acquisition of these jewels of precision and design. With these new limited editions, Seiko does more than simply tell the time; it invites us to reflect on the value of time, in a world where every moment is a fleeting gift, illuminated by the promise of dawn.
