On the eve of summer 2023, the famous Bordeaux brand Mouton Cadet has teamed up with Mathilde Sereys de Rothschild to unveil their latest oenological creation: Mouton Cadet Rosé x Mathilde. It’s a rosé full of freshness and gourmandise, with a 2022 solar vintage, that wine and luxury enthusiasts will be able to discover this summer.
With this cuvee, Mouton Cadet goes beyond the production of an exceptional wine, offering for the first time a bottle-holder bag. Designed in collaboration with Basque designer Astrid Eudeline, known as Little Anana, this accessory in raffia, acidic scoubidous and vegetable leather handles is as practical as it is aesthetically pleasing. Entirely made in Paris, it is embellished with a keyring featuring the Barbacchus, the brand’s emblem.
But what makes Mouton Cadet Rosé x Mathilde so special? First and foremost, its ecological commitment. The wine comes from a meticulous selection of organically farmed plots from seven partner winemakers. Certified organic, it is also vegan. An initiative that demonstrates the brand’s determination to be ever more respectful of the environment and of humankind.
Rosé 2022 offers a tasting rich in aromas of fresh red fruit, redcurrant and raspberry, opening with notes of grapefruit that refresh the palate and then melt into an intense, mineral finish marked by the delicacy of exotic fruit. A unique taste that highlights Merlot, the king of Bordeaux grapes.
To make matters worse, the packaging is just as attractive. The labels, available in three versions – Le Beau, Le Bon and L’Avenir – are the work of Mathilde Sereys de Rothschild, great-granddaughter of Baron Philippe de Rothschild. They dress the bottle in sunny colors, pine trees and pampas, echoing the art of living on the West Coast.
Mouton Cadet Rosé x Mathilde 2022 is now available at selected wine merchants, in CHR networks and online at Vinatis.com. For every purchase of six bottles on Vinatis.com, the bottle bag will be offered in limited quantities. A must-have for summer 2023.
