THE BALVENIE DOUBLEWOOD –
12 years old

The Balvenie DoubleWood 12 benefits from a double maturation. After spending a minimum of 12 years in American oak barrels, it is transferred to Spanish ex-sherry Oloroso barrels for another nine months. The Balvenie DoubleWood is a whisky with a very distinctive character that will suit amateurs and connoisseurs alike.
Tasting notes
Nose: This whisky presents notes of ripe fruit and Oloroso sherry, enhanced by hints of honey and vanilla.
Palate: DoubleWood 12 is a velvety, mellow single malt, beautifully combining the sweetness of hazelnut, the spice of cinnamon and a delicate note of sherry.
The finish is long and warm.

THE BALVENIE CARIBBEAN CASK –
14 ans d’âge

After aging in traditional oak whiskey barrels for 14 years, The Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 Year Old is matured in barrels that first contained West Indian rum for 4 months. With its toffee flavors and light fruity accents blended with The Balvenie’s signature smooth honey notes, this original whiskey will appeal to rum and whiskey lovers alike.
Tasting notes
Nose: Caribbean Cask reveals rich notes of sweet, creamy caramel, combined with fresh, fruity notes.
Palate: This round whisky reveals aromas of vanilla, combined with sweet oak notes. Its fruity character develops over time.
The finish is soft and persistent.
