On Saturday June 11th at 4pm local time, 62 cars will line up on the Sarthe circuit next to the iconic Rolex 24-hour clock to compete in the 90th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Nearly a century after the launch of this legendary race, 250,000 motorsports enthusiasts are expected to attend Le Mans, where they will witness the drivers’ fierce battle under extreme conditions and phenomenal pressure. Driven by its passion for performance and precision, Rolex has been the Official Watch of the 24 Hours of Le Mans since 2001, and a partner of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC).

This year’s FIA World Endurance Championship features a fascinating rivalry between Toyota Gazoo Racing and Alpine Elf Endurance, currently leading the championship by five points after the first two races. The third round of the championship is particularly important, as points count double for the winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Resistance and perseverance are essential to triumph in this race, which sees drivers and cars evolve in harmony over two clock laps, or exactly 86,400 seconds. Some of them allow breathtaking speeds, while others require a more measured approach. However, day or night, the most important thing is to find your rhythm and maintain it throughout the 13.626 km circuit.
