Reopening of the Hotel de la Ville and its mystical rooftop

Hotel de la Ville, by Rocco Forte Hotels, will reopen its doors on Thursday, September 3, 2020. The hotel features a sumptuous terrace, Cielo, popular with international and local guests alike, located on the hotel’s top floors and offering a 180-degree panoramic view of Rome.

Opened in 2019, Hotel de la Ville has quickly become one of Rome’s most coveted addresses thanks to its dynamism, striking design and lively atmosphere. After winning several international design awards, hosting fashion events, film stars, artists and international personalities, the hotel reopens with its extraordinary rooftop.

After a huge success last season, the Cielo terrace will now welcome guests all day long, offering a range of menus designed by Fulvio Pierangelini, creative director of gastronomy at Rocco Forte hotels, renowned the world over for the creative simplicity and authenticity of his dishes.

From alfresco breakfasts and lunches to sunset cocktails and romantic candlelit dinners, Fulvio’s menus feature seasonal local produce.

Private dinners can be arranged on the hotel’s panoramic terraces, for guests wishing to discover tailor-made menus with a breathtaking view of the Eternal City.

Hotel de la Ville also offers cooking and mixology classes with the expert help of the hotel’s chef and bartender, for guests wishing to learn the art of local cuisine and mixology.

These are just a few of the many special activities the Hotel de la Ville has put in place to welcome guests who choose the Eternal City for their end-of-summer travels and opt for the hotel’s “Roman Escape” package.

Valid until October 2020 and from €610.

Hotel de la Ville will reopen more splendid and vibrant than ever, offering the same attention to detail, intuitive service and personalized care for which Rocco Forte Hotels is renowned.
