The jewel in the crown of Le Meurice, a member of the Dorchester Collection, is writing a new page in its history after a complete makeover of its Royal Suite. The Belle Étoile Penthouse Suite with terrace is now, more than ever, a masterpiece of elegance, savoir-faire and innovation. This unique apartment, proudly installed on the seventh floor, offers a Parisian experience like no other.
A dream suite
True to its name, the Belle Étoile Suite is simply stunning. Every detail has been carefully considered by design studio Lally & Berger to create a breathtaking décor and highlight the incredible terrace offering 360° views over Paris. The apartment and garden combined can extend to 620 m² thanks to the three interconnecting bedrooms, making it one of the most spacious suites in Paris. Large bay windows bring light into every room, drawing the eye to the city panorama. The living room can be arranged to suit your needs and desires, thanks to fully modular, made-to-measure furniture that can be configured as a cinema-style or classical lounge, so you can feel right at home.
Lally & Berger
The Suite Belle Étoile is the culmination of a dream for talented young decorators Margaux Lally and Luc Berger, who had already worked closely with Charles Jouffre to create the Suite Pompadour in 2016. Here, the couple have imagined what a modern-day Versailles would be like, while sublimating its setting. In this incomparable suite, touches of bronze and gold mingle with the patina of aged oak. The sumptuous upholstery fabrics come from prestigious houses such as Rubelli, Dedar and Toyine Sellers.
Artisanal touches
Paris was a natural muse for our decorators, who paid tribute to it in every detail. You’ll arrive at the heart of hand-painted clouds in the boudoir, which will make you feel as if you’re soaring to the heavens. Here, the unique craftsmanship of French artisans takes center stage. The incredible staircase inspired by the tree branches of the Tuileries Gardens, Holland & Sherry embroidery, sumptuous Laval furniture and Meljac light switches are the perfect illustration. Colorful works by artist Carole Benzaken complete the picture. The oak woodwork was supplied by Ateliers Perrault, while Maison Lucien Gau designed the sublime chandeliers that contribute to the suite’s warm atmosphere. The majestic marble bathroom is not to be outdone. In this large, light-filled space, large picture windows offer a breathtaking view of Montmartre and the Sacré-Coeur.
A green paradise
Much more than a terrace, the suite’s vast outdoor space is a magnificent private garden akin to a verdant paradise echoing the Tuileries Gardens below. Landscape designer Pierre-Alexandre Risser, the creative mind behind this Eden, made a point of selecting the ideal shapes, textures and flowers to create a haven of peace in the heart of the city.
The most beautiful of panoramas
Crowned by our famous mansard roof, the suite’s immense terrace gives the impression that Paris belongs to you. On a clear day, you can enjoy a guided tour of the capital, its rooftops and all its major monuments, including the Louvre, Arc de Triomphe, Sacré-Coeur, Musée d’Orsay and Eiffel Tower. In the evening, after sunset, the city sparkles in the night, as splendid as ever.
